Groundfloor AI
About

Siddhartha Jain

I started Groundfloor AI to do one thing properly: find the task that is quietly costing a small business money, and fix it with the tools they already pay for.

For fifteen years I've been a data product owner at large enterprises. The job is making information well organised, connected and usable, so that systems and the people using them can actually do something with it. It is unglamorous work, and it is the reason some firms get value out of new technology while others buy the same thing and get nothing.

Small firms have exactly the same problem at a different scale. You pay for the same software as a company a hundred times your size, and you have nobody whose job it is to wire it together. So the work gets done by hand, in the gaps, by people who are already busy.

I don't resell software, and I take no commission from anyone whose product I suggest. If the answer is a free feature you already have, that's the answer. If the answer is that your problem isn't a software problem at all, I'll say that too.

Questions people ask first

Am I too late?

No. Fewer than a third of small UK firms use AI at all, and only about one in ten of those use it extensively. Many of the early movers spent their first year on things that went nowhere. Starting now, on one focused problem, is a good position to be in.

My records are a mess.

That's normal, and it's the part I'm best at. Fifteen years of my working life has been spent making messy information usable. We work with what you have rather than waiting for a clean-up that never happens.

What if there's nothing worth doing?

Then I'll tell you, in writing. You still keep the one page showing where your time and money actually go, which is usually worth having on its own.

Do I have to replace my staff?

No. 95% of UK small firms using AI report no change in headcount. The point is less copying, chasing and retyping, so your people spend their time on clients instead.

I already have an IT company.

Keep them. They look after your machines, your security and your accounts. I look at how the work flows through the business and what the new tools can take off your team's plate. The two fit together.

What happens to our data?

Everything stays inside the systems you already use and control. For clinics, I never touch patient records. Every fix comes with a one-page note on what data goes where and who checks the output.

How much does it cost?

The first hour is free. After that the diagnosis is a fixed price, and so is the four-week fix, agreed before anything starts. I'm taking on my first few clients at a founding price in return for honest feedback and a case study.

Still wondering whether it applies to you?

That's what the first hour is for. It's free, and you'll leave with at least one idea you can use whatever happens next.
